Osaka Castle － It was built by the hegemon Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who ruled Japan in the latter half of the 16th century, on the site of a temple called Ishiyama Hongan-ji. It is the symbol of Osaka.

Tsutenkaku Tower － Tsutenkaku is another symbol of Osaka that has appeared in many movies. It was built in 1912 as the landmark of Shin-Sekai (a new world). It was named Tsutenkaku, meaning “Building leading to heaven”.

Nintoku-ryo Tumulus － It’s a tumulus of the sixteenth Emperor Nintoku. The area of the tumulus is the biggest in the world which is bigger than the Great Pyramid of King Khufu of Egypt.

Gion/Kawaramachi － Gion is well known as the City of Maiko, entertainers with Japanese traditional songs and dances. Kawaramachi is right across the Kamo river from Gion. It is a busy area filled with trendy shops, boutiques and movie theaters.

Kinkaku-ji Temple － It has been recognised by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. This Golden Pavilion is a zen temple with top two-floors completely covered in gold leaf.

Todai-ji Temple － Todai-ji was built in the 8th century. Great Buddha in this temple, designated a National Treasure, is roughly 14m tall, and is the largest metal statue of the Buddha in the world.

Horyu-ji Temple － It’s the world's oldest surviving wooden structures, conveying images of Japan as it existed more than 1,300 years ago, during the Asuka Period. Horyu-ji Temple is also registered as a World Cultural Heritage.

Arima Hot Springs － Arima Hot Springs, the oldest hot spring in Japan as well as one of the 3 best hot springs in the country, offer 2 types of hot springs, Kinsen (gold spring) and Ginsen (silver spring).

Harbor View of Kobe － Hyogo prefecture faces Seto Inland Sea in the south and the Sea of Japan in the north. There are scenic places like Seto Inland Sea National Park, San-in Kaigan Coast National Park, Mt. Rokko and Awaji-shima Island.
